This privacy policy explains how Gina Rathbone proofreader uses the personal data collected from you when you use this website or my services.

I collect the following data when I am working with you: Name, email address, phone number, address (if required).

    How will I use your data?

    I collect your data so that I can communicate with you in response to enquiries and throughout the duration of a project. I may also be in touch with you again at a later date.

    I will not share your data with third parties.

     

    How do I store your data?

    I use a biometric-protected PC. Files are saved on Microsoft One Drive using password protection.

    I will keep your files and emails for one year.  Once this time period has expired, I will delete your data from my PC and cloud storage. If you wish me to store or remove data within a different time period, please let me know.

     

    What are your data protection rights?

    You are entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – to request copies of your personal data. There may be a small fee for this service.

  • The right to rectification – that I correct any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • The right to erasure – that I erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing – of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing – of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability – that I transfer the data that I have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
